The House on the Mountain Top | Webcomic and Graphic Novel
Challenge
Create a printable graphic novel from my webcomic "The House on the Mountain Top." This is a magical realism about grief and mourning your past life. I have been creating this story since 2019 and posting it online bi-weekly since September 2025.
Solution
For the book cover, I wanted to use a lot of colors. The main character wears vibrant colors so I felt the cover should match. The cover features the house from the title, a main location in the story. The title font is used for chapter headers and page numbers for consistency. The back of the cover has type similar to the font used for the dialogue.
